Application overview
Electric motors are used in industrial environments to perform various tasks and functions, such as rotating shafts, driving pumps, fans and power tools. Frequency converters are used to control the speed and torque of motors - usually three-phase AC induction or three-phase brushless DC motors - using specially developed control methods, such as VFD or FOC. Servo motors (for example, in industrial automation, robotics and CNC machinery) are used when the maximum precision of motion acceleration, speed and position is required, which can achieve the highest energy efficiency and reliable performance.
